Los Angeles has been hit by the most severe wildfire in history, with Hunter Biden’s luxurious mansion being razed to the ground by the Palisades Fire. The mansion, boasting large floor-to-ceiling windows with a picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean, originally had three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Exclusive photos taken by the Daily Mail show the 1950s building now reduced to rubble with only two lone chimneys standing amidst the scorched remains.
American President Biden mentioned at a press conference in Santa Monica, California on Wednesday (January 8) that his son had received news that their home might have been destroyed by the fire, but later received information that it may not have been “completely destroyed” after all. “Yesterday, he got a notification that the house might be burnt down,” Biden said. “Today, it looks like it might still be there, but I’m not sure.”
However, the latest photos reveal that Hunter, aged 54, and his wife, Melissa Cohen, shared the $4 million mansion that has become one of over 1,000 buildings destroyed by the four uncontrolled wildfires in Los Angeles County. Hunter’s artworks inside the house were also destroyed in the fire.
Adjacent to their rented mansion was another property initially leased by Hunter’s Secret Service detail for $16,000 per month, which also fell victim to the blaze.
In the past few years, Hunter has rented several luxurious homes in Malibu. Currently, Hunter, his wife, and their 3-year-old son, Beau, have relocated to another oceanfront residence in Malibu designed by renowned architect Ray Kappe, where he will continue his artistic endeavors.
