The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that President Trump will unveil an infrastructure plan on Tuesday, January 21st.
In an interview with “Fox & Friends,” Leavitt stated, “This will be a large-scale plan that will show the world that America is back.”
The plan is set to be released at 4 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time (9 p.m.), but no further details were provided.
The Republican president had promised during his 2016 campaign to introduce a $1 trillion infrastructure plan in his first term from 2017 to 2021, which ultimately did not come to fruition.
Former President Joe Biden signed a bipartisan $1 trillion infrastructure bill in 2021, aimed at creating job opportunities and boosting economic development through substantial government investment in infrastructure. The government is responsible for budget allocation, sustainability, and social equity.
