On the evening of April 10, a documentary film titled “Medical Genocide: The Hidden Massacre of China’s Organ Transplant Industry” was screened at Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) in Delaware, USA.
The event was hosted by talk show host Rick Jensen from Delaware, and he also moderated a post-screening discussion which elicited strong reactions from the audience.
The film featured Professor Jacob Lavee, the Chairman of the Israeli Transplantation Society, stating, “Before you believe or decide whether to believe, you must first understand the facts. The facts are there, the published books are there, the research investigations are there. Read them, once you have read them, I can assure you that you have no choice but to believe.”
The documentary delved into many facts about the large-scale organ transplantation in China, highlighting the following points:
(1) Former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific Affairs David Kilgour mentioned a case that stuck with him: “A patient went to China twice. The first time, the hospital brought out four pairs of kidneys, none of which matched. Three to four months later, he went to China again and they provided him with four pairs of kidneys again. The eighth pair finally matched. When we saw this patient, he appeared to have had a successful surgery, but 8 people were killed because of it.”
(2) Professor Jacob Lavee also recounted an incident where one of his patients in 2005 was informed by an Israeli insurance company to fly to China in two weeks for a pre-arranged heart transplant. Despite the improbability of scheduling such a procedure in advance, the patient underwent the heart transplant surgery as planned in China.
(3) The website of the “International Transplantation (China) Network Support Center” provided price lists for organ transplants for foreigners: kidney transplant at $62,000, liver transplant at $98,000-$130,000, liver-kidney transplant at $160,000-$180,000, kidney-pancreas transplant at $150,000, lung transplant at $150,000-$170,000, heart transplant at $130,000-$160,000, cornea transplant at $30,000…
David Kilgour, after extensively studying the industrialized organ transplantation system in China, stated, “This system has generated annual revenues of 9 to 10 billion US dollars per year. This industrialized organ transplant system has spread throughout China, becoming a huge money-making machine, with many hospitals relying on organ transplants as their economic pillar.”
(4) In 2009, the average waiting time for a kidney transplant was 1191 days in the UK, 1314 days in the USA, while in China, the waiting time was generally calculated in weeks. A 2006 report on liver transplants in China showed that 27% of registered liver transplants were labeled as “emergency liver transplants,” meaning a liver donor was found within a few days or hours.
(5) In 2006, a lead surgeon at the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine published a paper discussing the factors affecting repeated kidney transplants, with 46 cases of two-time kidney transplants, 3 cases of three-time kidney transplants, and 1 case of four-time kidney transplant.
(6) Wang Lijun, one of the most famous police officers in China, led the country’s only “On-Site Psychological Research Center,” which earned the “China Innovation Award” for inventing a new method of injection-induced death, admitting to performing thousands of organ transplants.
(7) Since the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, the number of liver transplants in China has increased exponentially, as noted by He Xiaoshun, Vice President of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and a member of the China Human Organ Donation Committee. The number of liver transplants in the country increased tenfold in 2000 from the previous year, and then fivefold in 2005, coinciding with the period of Falun Gong persecution.
(8) On June 22, 2016, in Washington D.C., three international independent investigators jointly released a 680-page investigative report titled “Bloody Harvests/Organ Harvesting: Updated Version.”
The three investigators were David Kilgour, former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific Affairs; David Matas, international human rights lawyer; and Ethan Gutmann, an American independent investigative journalist.
Starting from 2006, they conducted a decade-long investigation into organ harvesting by the Chinese authorities. They meticulously reviewed vast amounts of data from hundreds of organ transplant hospitals in China, concluding that China performs approximately 60,000 to 100,000 organ transplant surgeries annually, totaling up to 1.5 million cases between 2000 and 2016; the primary source of these organs likely being Falun Gong practitioners.
Matas remarked, “The over 2,200 footnotes in our report derive from their (the Chinese authorities’) data.”
The investigators shared their thoughts on the massive organ harvesting operations by the Chinese authorities in the documentary.
David Kilgour stated, “To my knowledge, China is the only country in the world where the government operates, at an industrial scale, to kill its own people and sell their organs.”
David Matas added, “I have been studying the Holocaust of the Jews, and I feel that in a certain sense, what we see (in China) is another form of genocide. It is a relentless, bottomless descent of humanity, extremely evil.”
Ethan Gutmann commented, “When I began writing the book ‘The Slaughter,’ I said I was writing history. But when I reached the end, I realized that it’s not history; in fact, organ harvesting is still ongoing. This is a new form of mass extermination… a fundamental test of our era that we cannot avoid.”
Since the exposure of the Chinese Communist Party’s organ harvesting crimes in 2006, the first investigators to independently probe into the issue, David Kilgour and David Matas, were subsequently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Over the years, more organizations and experts have joined the cause.
For the past 18 years, organizations such as Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, the China Organ Harvest Research Center, the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China, the International League for Independent Investigation into Genocide, the Foundation for Victims of Communism, the London Independent People’s Tribunal, and the International Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, among others, have conducted extensive, in-depth investigations into this issue. The consensus reached is:
The massive organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party is a large-scale massacre ordered by the CCP dictator Jiang Zemin, involving various CCP agencies like the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, the 610 Office, police, courts, prisons, hospitals, armed police, and military.
In recent years, many professionals abroad concerned about human rights in China have produced various documentaries shedding light on this issue. Some notable ones include:
1. The series of documentaries titled “Bloody Harvests” (Episodes 1-32) produced by the International Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong;
2. In 2017, the documentary film “To Live, You Must Die” released by “Chosun TV,” a division of South Korea’s largest newspaper “Chosun Daily;”
3. The documentary film “Hard to Believe” directed by Emmy Award winner Ken Stone in 2015;
4. The documentary film “State Organs” directed by Canadian-Chinese filmmaker Leon Lee in 2023;
5. The documentary film “Human Harvest,” also known as “Davids and Goliath,” directed by Canadian-Chinese filmmaker Leon Lee in 2014.
These documentaries, along with the film “Medical Genocide: The Hidden Massacre of China’s Organ Transplant Industry,” offer a glimpse behind the sinister veil of the Chinese Communist Party’s operations today.
A reflection on history reveals that for a century, the Chinese Communist Party has been responsible for widespread killings and atrocities:
In the 1930s, the CCP initiated the “Strike Hard” campaigns, which, as per General Xiao Ke’s memoirs, resulted in the deaths of 100,000 people in just the Central Soviet Area.
In the 1940s, during the Battle of Changchun, according to investigations by Du Bin, author of “Changchun Hunger Siege,” between 370,000 and 460,000 people died from starvation.
In the late 1950s and early 1960s, Mao Zedong’s radical policies led to the deadliest famine in Chinese history. According to Yang Jisheng, a former senior journalist with Xinhua News Agency and his book “Tombstone,” approximately 36 million people died from starvation, with reports of cannibalism in many regions.
During the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s, according to Deng Xiaoping, the true number of people killed in this chaotic period remains astronomical and unquantifiable.
In 1989, the CCP orchestrated the Tiananmen Square massacre, documented by declassified British files that showed at least 10,000 people were killed.
After Jiang Zemin initiated the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, employing the brutal practice of organ harvesting from practitioners on a large scale, the level of evil escalated beyond all historical precedents, being labeled as the “most unprecedented evil on this planet.”
These atrocities surpass even the bloodiest and most brutal actions since Hitler’s mass slaughter of Jews in the 1930s. This is not the work of humans but the actions of devils cloaked in human skin. These devils have committed crimes of genocide, torture, and crimes against humanity collectively.
Notably, Falun Gong is not an ordinary qigong practice but a spiritual practice based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance.
Throughout history, persecuting spiritual beliefs has always been a severe crime.
In this sense, the massive organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party stands as the CCP’s greatest crime against the Chinese people over the past century.
The principle of retribution for good and evil is fundamental.
The CCP’s greatest crime will inevitably face the greatest retribution. What is this ultimate retribution? It is the “Heavenly downfall of the CCP,” where all CCP evildoers, burdened by blood debts, will fall irreversibly into eternal damnation under divine judgement.
In the 18 years since the exposure of the CCP’s organ harvesting crimes, many Chinese people have come to understand the truth, cutting off all ties with the CCP from the depths of their souls, openly declaring their withdrawal from the CCP, its youth organizations, and its affiliated groups. According to the Epoch Times’ Quitting the Party website, over 428 million Chinese individuals have chosen a bright and hopeful future for themselves, their families, and future generations.
For those who are still unaware of the truth, it is crucial to swiftly grasp the facts, make the right choices between good and evil, truth and falsehood, and distance oneself from the CCP and its malevolence.
To those who understand the truth but believe it doesn’t concern them, a reminder from Martin Luther King, Jr., a leader in the U.S. civil rights movement, may be instructive:
Martin Luther King, Jr., once said, “He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”
All individuals unwilling to become accomplices of the CCP should recognize the evil nature of the CCP, sever all ties with the murderers and devils who have the blood of the Chinese people on their hands, and thus escape unscathed in the final reckoning when divine retribution falls upon the CCP, turning misfortune into blessing.
