In the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war that has lasted nearly three years, both Russia and Ukraine have frequently used drones for reconnaissance or attack missions, with many instances of them being shot down by enemy forces. However, what surprised many was a low-flying FPV drone from Ukraine being taken down by a cat’s paw.
According to reports from the Russian media outlet “EurAsia Daily,” a viral video shows a cat in the rural areas of Ukraine knocking down an FPV drone with its paw.

In the video, as the drone flew low over a grassy area, a cat with cow-like markings suddenly rose from the grass and delivered a precise “cat punch,” directly hitting the drone.
The drone lost balance instantly, collided with a nearby utility pole, and then crashed onto the grass. The cat then approached the drone to inspect it closely.
The exact time and location of the video are unknown. Some Ukrainian media sources have claimed that the drone was brought down by the cat during a test flight in Ukraine.
Previously reported by Epoch Times, FPV drones, standing for First Person View drones, differ significantly from traditional aerial drones.
Traditional aerial drones focus on stability and filming capabilities, with users controlling the drone by monitoring the aircraft’s body or utilizing GPS. On the other hand, FPV drones prioritize agility, speed, and flight experience, where users must control the drone based on the visual feedback received from goggles, smartphones, or tablets, resembling piloting an aircraft firsthand rather than visually controlling the craft.
