Two cars repeatedly ram into crowd outside Kuala Lumpur shopping mall in Malaysia.

On January 29th, outside a shopping mall on Jalan Old Klang Road in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a white truck and a sedan were suspected of deliberately ramming into a crowd multiple times. At least one person was sent flying as a result of the incident, and the police confirmed that two individuals in the crowd were injured from being hit, with one requiring hospital treatment.

According to reports from various Malaysian media outlets such as Sin Chew Daily and social media posts, on the day of the 29th, a group of people were gathered at the roadside outside the shopping mall causing a commotion. Subsequently, a car and a white truck accelerated towards the crowd one after the other, resulting in sounds of impact at the scene, although the video footage did not clearly capture the incident.

After the truck entered the main road, it suddenly turned around and once again charged towards the crowd, causing at least one person to be sent flying. Following closely behind, the car also hit a pedestrian crossing the road, prompting onlookers to scream in shock and rush to check on the injured. Moments later, both the truck and the car surprisingly returned to the scene and rammed into the crowd again, causing chaos and panic among the bystanders.

Deputy Chief Police Officer Datuk Azri Akma of Kuala Lumpur stated today (30th) that the incident resulted in two individuals in the crowd being injured from being hit, with one requiring hospital treatment. Currently, the police have arrested four suspects of Indian ethnicity in connection with the case and are investigating the incident under the charge of attempted murder. It is alleged that this incident stemmed from a dispute between the two parties.
