Trump and Zelensky’s White House Meeting: Intense Debate

On the morning of Friday, February 28th, President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Washington D.C. Trump waited in front of the White House for Zelensky to arrive by car. The two men warmly shook hands, with Trump placing his left hand on Zelensky’s shoulder, displaying a friendly and enthusiastic attitude as they posed for photographs before briefly greeting the reporters present. They then proceeded indoors for their meeting.

Outside the West Wing of the White House, Trump humorously remarked to the reporters present, “He’s dressed very formally today.” Zelensky was dressed in a black long-sleeved shirt with the Ukrainian emblem, the trident, on his chest. This attire, more formal than his usual green military-style t-shirt, still appeared relatively casual for a diplomatic occasion.

After the meeting, the two leaders did not respond to questions from reporters and went straight into the Oval Office for discussions. The meeting was intense, with both sides engaged in heated debates. For more details on the meeting, please refer to the following report from NTD News with Chinese translation.
