Taiwan’s Tourist Attractions Sweep the West Coast: Culture, Cuisine, and Scenery Captivate Attention.

The Taiwan Tourism Bureau (TTA) showcased the “Taiwan Waves of Wonder” campaign at the Phoenix Travel & Adventure Show on February 15-16, following which it will head to the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show on the upcoming weekend of February 22-23. This initiative aims to introduce the charm of Taiwan to travel enthusiasts in Southern California.

After visiting the TTA booth in large numbers, visitors were deeply moved by the rich and diverse culture, magnificent natural landscapes, and various famous cuisines of Taiwan. Lin Yizheng, the head of the Department of Culture at TTA, expressed her delight in showcasing Taiwan’s charm to the people of Phoenix and encouraged those in the western United States to consider Taiwan as their next travel destination. With the increasing number of direct flights from the western U.S. to Taipei in recent years, Lin Yizheng urged the people of Los Angeles to participate in the travel exhibition and visit the Taiwan Tourism Bureau booth at 701 to enjoy exciting dance performances, participate in interactive games, receive exclusive gifts, and have more chances to win tickets to Taiwan.

The Taiwan Tourism Bureau offers various promotional activities for international visitors, such as the “Taiwan Golden Blessing New Taiwan Dollar 5,000 Travel Consumption Gold Draw,” “Buy One, Get One Free High-Speed Rail Ticket,” and “Roaming Taiwan Taiwan Pass” promotions. Lin Yizheng also recommended travelers to attend the 2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Taoyuan to experience the cultural charm of the “Infinite Paradise”.

During the exhibition, visitors can learn about Taiwan’s lively night markets, stunning natural wonders, deep historical heritage, and unique cultural experiences. The venue also features the fun-filled “Memory Box Game,” where participants have the chance to win Taiwan-themed souvenirs such as DIY sand art kits, 2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival snake lanterns, and various limited-edition themed gifts.

People from Arizona actively participated in the raffle activities, with prizes including round-trip tickets to Taiwan provided by China Airlines, EVA Air, and Starlux Airlines. The daily prizes received enthusiastic responses, and the three lucky winners at the Phoenix Travel & Adventure Show expressed their plans to travel to Taiwan with their families.

The travel exhibition also provided networking opportunities for industry professionals. The Taiwan Tourism Bureau hosted a special FAM-TAS breakfast meeting, inviting representatives from China Airlines, EVA Air, and Starlux Airlines to introduce Taiwan’s tourism resources and flight services to Taiwan directly to travel agents in Phoenix, promoting the development of the U.S.-Taiwan travel market.
