The annual Taiwan cultural and arts festival, the Passport to Taiwan Festival, will be grandly held at Union Square North in New York City on Sunday, May 25, from 12 pm to 5 pm!
As one of the significant celebration events of the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in the United States and the Taiwanese American Heritage Week established by the U.S. Congress in 1999, the “Passport to Taiwan Festival” has been the largest Taiwanese cultural outdoor carnival in the United States since its inception in 2002. The event brings together food, performances, culture, tourism, and interactive experiences, showcasing the diverse and charming allure of Taiwan.

– Exciting stage performances featuring traditional opera, modern music, pop dance, and band performances.
– The Tainan-themed booth “Truly Tainan” brings a retro nostalgic atmosphere, featuring a fun pinball machine where hitting the target earns visitors Tainan dried mangoes and limited edition souvenirs.
– The Kaohsiung-themed booth “Kaohsiung So Fun” is filled with interactive features reflecting the characteristics of the harbor city, offering games combining Kaohsiung’s landscape and culture for visitors of all ages to challenge and win prizes.
– The Taipei 101-themed booth recreates the iconic skyscraper of Taiwan, complemented by fun games and commemorative gifts for visitors to enjoy while learning about the beauty of Taipei.
– There will also be booths featuring cultural and creative handicrafts, parent-child interactive games, calligraphy experiences, traditional costume try-ons, tourism promotion, and more.
