Shandong man doesn’t live in wedding house for 7 years, locks changed by community cleaners to raise chickens.

A man in Qingdao, Shandong Province, purchased a penthouse duplex as a wedding house in the Canaan Beautiful Land community in Tian Tai City. However, he discovered that his wedding house had turned into a chicken farm after being left vacant for 7 years. Surprisingly, two cleaners in the community had started raising chickens on his balcony and even changed the lock.

Mr. Xu, the homeowner, recently told the media that because the house was intended for weddings and was well decorated, he couldn’t bear to rent it out, so it remained empty. To his surprise, the cleaners in the community noticed that his home had been vacant for years and started raising chickens on his balcony. Not only that, the lock on the balcony door was changed to the cleaners’ lock, and even the surveillance was destroyed, leaving him speechless.

A viral video showed that chickens were raised on Mr. Xu’s balcony, with chicken droppings all over the floor and the lock on the balcony’s iron gate being broken, creating a mess on the scene.

However, even after Mr. Xu reported the issue to the community property management, more than 2 days passed without any action from the property management, and he hadn’t even met the property manager. Mr. Xu stated that this was a clear case of “illegal occupation” and has reported it to the public security organs.

On February 27, the topic of “wedding house vacant for 7 years turned into a chicken farm by community cleaners changing locks” became a hot search.

Some netizens jokingly commented, “The wedding house hasn’t been lived in for 7 years, and now chickens have moved in.” “A wedding house left empty for 7 years, thought to be a sanctuary for love, ended up becoming a ‘happy homeland’ for chickens. The cleaners’ move directly gave the wedding house a ‘makeover’.”

“This is outrageous! Doesn’t the community property management take any responsibility? Even if no one lived there, they can’t just raise chickens in someone else’s home without permission! This is clearly illegal occupation!” “The cleaners have gone too far.” “They even changed the lock. “We must first condemn the illegal behavior of the community cleaners. It’s unheard of to see cleaners keeping chickens in an homeowner’s house. The homeowner must have been oblivious to find out seven years later that his wedding house was being used to raise chickens.”

There were also netizens sharing their own experiences, “Our family also went through something similar before. A small part of the basement of our house, which we didn’t live in and left vacant without renting out, was broken into and rented out to someone else. And then we had to get the authorities involved. The most ridiculous part was that the person collecting rent actually pointed at us and argued loudly, claiming that the house belonged to her, saying everything within sight belonged to her. ”
