Shandong High School Teacher Exposed for Using Fake Identity to Target Multiple Female Students

On April 11th, a teacher named Wu from the Department of Economics at Dongchang College of Liaocheng University in Shandong Province was reported to have used a fake identity, engaging in relationships with multiple female students. This sparked outrage online.

According to the disclosed information from the female victims, Wu had registered over ten social media accounts using virtual numbers to portray himself as a “returnee elite” or “entrepreneurial elite,” targeting freshman and sophomore female students. He would then lure the students to his apartment under the guise of “after-class tutoring.”

The victims revealed that Wu’s parents had very high standards for his partner selection. Despite knowing that some of the female students he engaged with did not meet his parents’ requirements, he still pursued romantic relationships with them.

Chat records provided by the victims showed that Wu used “final exam grades” as leverage, requesting them to wear specific clothing for appointments. He even mixed contraceptives into “vitamin tablets,” deceiving the victims into taking them. Another female student suffered uterine damage from multiple miscarriages, to which Wu callously remarked, “It’s something we both agreed upon, making a fuss will only tarnish your reputation.”

Inside Wu’s office drawer was a handwritten “seduction notes” book, detailing each female student’s personality weaknesses, family background, and gift preferences.

The report indicated that over the span of 8 years as an educator, Wu had manipulated more than a dozen female students into romantic relationships and physical intimacy. Following the incident, Wu showed no remorse for his actions against professional ethics, even boasting, “Losing this job doesn’t matter, anyway, there’s no permanent position here, worst case, I’ll go to Jinan or abroad.”

On April 13th, Liaocheng Dongchang College of Shandong University announced on its official website that Wu, a single male young teacher at the school, had concealed his identity to engage in romantic relationships with women outside of the school. It was decided to revoke Wu’s party membership, cancel his lecturer title, terminate his employment. Additionally, his teaching qualification was recommended to be revoked following the proper procedures.

The announcement was criticized for being lenient. Many netizens expressed dissatisfaction, questioning why the report did not clearly state that the male teacher had engaged in sexual relationships with over a dozen students during his 8 years of teaching, using fake identities and simultaneously being involved with multiple individuals. This led to some comments trying to defend his actions as “a single male teacher freely dating, not a problem,” accusing university leadership of negligence.

“The teacher involved engaged in sexual relationships with over a dozen female students in his 8-year teaching career, displaying despicable behavior that no law should tolerate. It is suggested that the judicial system takes action, instead of letting him continue to manipulate female students.”
