Sana and Nayeon do not want to lose TWICE, a missing member will make them cry for years.

On the evening of the 6th, YouTube channel 117 aired the latest episode of “Sana’s Cold Interview” hosted by TWICE’s Japanese member Sana (Minatozaki Sana), featuring TWICE’s eldest sister Lim Na-yeon as a guest. Sana expressed in the program that she wants to stay in TWICE even when she’s 90 or 100 years old. If a member is missing from the group, she would cry for several years.

Lim Na-yeon, who will release her second mini album “NA” on June 14th, appeared on Sana’s show for promotion. This episode marked the last time Sana hosted “Sana’s Cold Interview” and the first time she conducted the interview solo with a TWICE member as the guest.

Regarding her new album, Lim Na-yeon revealed that JYP Entertainment’s CEO Park Jin-young had suggested she work out, but mentioned, “There are some people whose bodies don’t visibly change no matter how much they work out.” She then asked the staff and Sana if they understood, seeming a bit frustrated when no one immediately agreed with her perspective.

She went on to express her frustration, saying, “It really makes me sick that Momo hasn’t exercised for a year, especially focusing on her abs workout. But she’s just like that, eats before going on stage, and her abs are still clearly visible. Whereas I don’t eat much every day, take in protein, and whenever I have time in the morning, I try my best to work out at the gym.” She spoke passionately, even turning to the staff and asking, “Right?,” seeking confirmation from them.

Lim Na-yeon continued, “But even so, it still makes me wonder if it’s abs or just shadows in that degree of definition, and the next day, the lines disappear.” Despite this, she vowed to continue working out diligently before making her comeback with the new album.

In response, Sana jokingly said, “Everyone! Please check her (Lim Na-yeon’s workout results) on music programs!” Lim Na-yeon also disclosed that the choreography for her solo song in this album was more challenging than TWICE’s group dances, at times making her feel frustrated to the point of tears, requiring much effort to adjust the details.

During the program, Sana emotionally expressed, “I really want to be part of TWICE even when I become a granny, until I die. Even if I rest and stay inactive in my 90s and 100s, I still hope to be in TWICE.” To which Lim Na-yeon replied, stating that the members would still be beautiful even as grannies, prompting Sana to exclaim, “Their daughters and sons will definitely be beautiful too. I really want to see everyone’s children.”

Lim Na-yeon then remarked, “Although it was the same before, now there’s the thought of ‘if someone doesn’t do well, they might lose TWICE,’ isn’t there?” Sana agreed, saying, “Yes, that’s the scariest part,” with Lim Na-yeon adding, “Because we don’t want that, we are able to walk to where we are today.”

Sana made a reflective statement, “Actually, I think it’s a miracle that we were all able to renew our contracts. It’s really like a miracle that we nine can continue to be active.” Lim Na-yeon responded, “I think all the members think the same way. The precious moments we’ve gone through together are too valuable.”

Sana also expressed, “I really feel that if TWICE is not complete (with all nine members), if we were missing a few people, I feel like I’d be crying every night, crying for years. It’s like breaking up with someone; before bed, turning off the lights and crying in the blanket, ‘sob sob sob’ like that, really.”

She continued, “You know there’s a thing called ‘late-night sentiment,’ right? I really look at photos where TWICE members are hugging each other, looking so happy, and tears fall. I feel ‘I’m truly happy.'” Lim Na-yeon also shared that she had shed tears while reading comments from fans during their appearance on “Killing Voice.” Sana added that it was being in TWICE that allowed her to hear people say things like “TWICE is my youth.”

In closing, Lim Na-yeon mentioned that being able to appear on a program hosted by a TWICE member before making her comeback with the new album not only reflected the active participation of the other members but also made her proud and happy to be on the show together.

As this episode was the last of Sana’s hosting on “Sana’s Cold Interview,” Lim Na-yeon noted that hosting a show alone in Korea as a foreigner is not an easy task, and she felt proud that Sana, who speaks Korean very well, was able to do it.

Sana revealed that she was surprised when she received the invitation to the show, praising the atmosphere of the production crew. As Sana was about to cry while speaking, she mentioned, “Even though we only filmed six times, everyone was so nice that it brought me to tears, and looking at Sana shedding tears and crying ‘what should I do,’ Lim Na-yeon interjected, “Sana is really a child with deep emotions, a very good child, she is loved by the staff…”

Sana then concluded, “It was really great to be the host of an interview for the first time; please continue to watch ‘Cold Interview’ in the future. Sister Na-yeon is also releasing a new song, please listen to it a lot, take on more dance challenges, and please support me, Sana.”
