San Francisco Chinese Protest “Anti-Trafficking”: CCP is the Root of Tragedy.

On January 25, 2025, last Saturday, several Chinese individuals gathered outside the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco to hold a protest themed “Anti-Trafficking, Anti-Kidnapping, Anti-Oppression,” voicing out for the innocent lives sold under the Chinese Communist regime and condemning the CCP as the root of the people’s suffering.

The announcement for this protest stated: “How many iron chains imprison women sold into trafficking; how many tortures torment young people kidnapped; how many buyers coveting fresh lives! Every year, millions! One by one, disappearing boys, girls, young people, behind them countless shattered families, countless heart-wrenching cries without an outlet! Fengxian, Maowadi, Xiangya Hospital…”

“The bloody names, scenes of hell on earth! Fearful cries unheard, endless lost souls unasked for! That is the heart of every conscience, a nightmare hard to dispel! It is also the shame that every child of China cannot bear!”

The CCP claims to put “the people first,” but “in reality, it rises on kidnapping and deceit, sustains power through bloodshed and lies, rules the people by oppression and plunder.”

“They are the enemies of humanity, the cancer of civilization, the root of disaster! May the world quickly see the evil of the CCP! Witness the countless crimes that are too many to recount! Violence and fear cannot bury the flame of justice!” The organizers urged everyone to “work together to let the light of justice penetrate this dark age!”

The organizer of the event, Zhang Junjie, stated that the human rights disaster under the CCP regime in the so-called “golden age” strongly condemns the CCP as the source of people’s suffering.

He bluntly stated that despite the CCP’s relentless efforts to promote the “rise of a great nation” and the “revival of China” through political propaganda, behind it lies the deteriorating living conditions of the people and a cruel human rights crisis.

Zhang Junjie criticized that at the 2016 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Hangzhou, the CCP lavishly entertained heads of various countries to showcase the so-called “golden age and strong nation,” but in the remote Gansu Province, poor Yang Gailan, due to social isolation and lack of basic relief, suffered a mental breakdown and tragically ended her and her four children’s lives, followed by her husband’s suicide as he couldn’t bear the blow. A heart-wrenching family tragedy became a huge irony of the CCP’s dream of a great nation.

Zhang Junjie also criticized the absurdity of the CCP’s foreign policy. He pointed out that the CCP’s “wolf-warrior diplomacy,” with the Foreign Ministry spokesperson’s “sarcastic and rude” image, is favored by the CCP authorities.

Ironically, corresponding to “wolf-warrior diplomacy” is the “dire situations of Chinese citizens abroad without assistance.”

“For example: during the Ukraine conflict, Chinese students were stranded in the war zone because they couldn’t get assistance from the CCP government; due to the CCP’s acquiescence, Chinese citizens are repeatedly kidnapped and threatened by Southeast Asian telecom fraud gangs; last year, when Israel was attacked by terrorists, the CCP government was busy condemning Israel’s response to Hamas terrorists, turning a blind eye to the life and death of Chinese citizens attacked.”

Zhang Junjie bluntly stated that the CCP’s use of the “rise of a great nation” and the “revival of China” as a means to maintain its legitimacy, “yet the CCP’s actions precisely reflect their ruthlessness and indifference towards the Chinese people.”

He emphasized that the CCP views people as “pawns, hostages, and resources, rather than individuals with dignity and independent thoughts.” When deviating from the people’s basic rights, dignity, rule of law, and fairness, these grand political narratives are doomed to be “disasters for the people.” ◇
