In recent months, mysterious flying objects have been sighted in various parts of China, arousing attention and curiosity among the public. On March 2nd, in the early hours of the morning, multiple witnesses reported sightings of unidentified flying objects in several locations across Heilongjiang province.
According to a report from Shenzhen TV’s “First Scene,” on March 2nd, residents in Harbin, Qitaihe, Jiamusi, and other areas of Heilongjiang claimed to have witnessed unidentified flying objects moving from west to east as captured in videos posted online.
A resident of Shuangyashan city, Mr. Liu, told Jímù News that around 12:02 am that night, he saw a bright red object outside his window that was brighter than a star, with a tail of fire trailing behind as it crossed the sky from west to east, lasting for more than ten seconds. Mr. Liu mentioned that there were no unusual sounds accompanying the sighting, noting that he had never witnessed such a sight locally before.
Another witness from Shuangyashan reported seeing a similar meteor-like object streak across the sky from east to west around 12:06 am, describing it as orange in color and not very high above the horizon in the eastern sky.
A netizen from Jíxián County, Shuangyashan, stated that around 12:02 am on the 2nd, they saw a bright and fast-moving object resembling a meteor flying from west to east.
Local government departments in Harbin, Heilongjiang Meteorological Bureau, and Shuangyashan City Emergency Management Bureau were contacted for information, but they all claimed to have no knowledge of the reported sightings.
Videos of the phenomena went viral online, with many local netizens commenting on their experiences, such as mistaking the objects for shooting stars and making wishes upon seeing them.
Some netizens shared photographs showing the unidentified objects appearing to be nearing the ground.
A netizen from Liaoning mentioned a similar sighting before the lunar new year, describing it as a high-tech object with a long flame moving from southwest to northeast.
Speculations and theories circulated among netizens, with some suggesting it could be a rocket or a new technology being tested by the government. Others interpreted the sightings as comets or signs of spiritual departures based on traditional beliefs from different regions of China.
