Trump made the sudden announcement on Saturday evening that the US had completed attacks on three Iranian nuclear facilities, including Fordow. He mentioned that “all aircraft have now left Iranian airspace and are safely returning.”
Posting on his own social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote, “We have successfully completed attacks on three Iranian nuclear facilities, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.”
He stated, “All aircraft have now left Iranian airspace. For the main target, Fordow, we have dropped all ammunition. All aircraft are safely returning.”
Trump also mentioned that no other military in the world could accomplish what the US military had done, stating that “now is the time to pursue peace!”
Prior to this, Trump had stated on the 19th that he would decide within two weeks whether to take action against Iran.
