On July 4th, the United States celebrated its annual National Day and Independence Day. People across the country organized a series of patriotic-themed public celebrations, including parades, concerts, vintage car shows, food festivals, and more. However, the highlight of the Independence Day festivities every year is the fireworks display, and this year was no exception.

The official fireworks show in the United States took place at 9:09 pm on July 4th on the National Mall in Washington D.C., with fireworks launching from both sides of the reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial, lasting a total of 17 minutes. The best viewing spots included the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the White House Ellipse, and West Potomac Park.

It is worth mentioning that President Trump and First Lady Melania watched the large fireworks display from the South Lawn of the White House.

The 49th Annual Macy’s Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular took place on the East River in New York City, with prime viewing locations at Brooklyn Bridge Park and along the East River in downtown Manhattan. This year’s celebration, the largest Fourth of July event in the country, coincided with the 400th anniversary of the founding of New York City and provided hundreds of thousands of spectators with a visual and auditory feast.

This year, 80,000 fireworks lit up the sky above the Brooklyn Bridge and the East River at 9:25 pm, featuring 30 different colors and a variety of special effects including golden crown jellyfish, atomic halos, yellow-green sunrises, lemon waterfalls, comet fans, and more, lasting a total of 25 minutes. The pyrotechnics soared over 1,000 feet high illuminating the entire East River, accompanied by bridge projections and custom music, creating an indescribably stunning audiovisual experience.

In addition to New York City, fireworks displays were also held in cities such as Los Angeles, Storm Lake, and Miami, adding to the festive spirit of Independence Day celebrations across the nation.
