South Korean girl group NATURE, consisting of members from various countries, has recently sparked discussions due to Japanese member Haru (安倍春野) working at a nightlife establishment in Japan. The management company, n.CH Entertainment, announced today (27th) that NATURE will officially disband, with only Kim Sohee (Sohee) staying at the company to pursue individual activities.
NATURE, formed by South Korean members Sohee, Saebom, Lu, Chaebin, Loha, Uchae, Sunshine, Chinese member Aurora, and Japanese member Haru, made their debut on August 3, 2018. However, they have not released any new music since their third mini-album “NATURE WORLD: CODE W” in November 2022.
Recently, a video surfaced on social media showing Haru, the Japanese member of NATURE, at a nightlife establishment in Sendai, Japan. In the video, she introduced herself as “former K-POP idol Sakuraruru” and mentioned working as a hostess to raise funds for establishing a dance studio after being active as a K-POP idol in Korea for six years starting from the age of 18, stating that she has been in this new line of work for three months.
The video caused a stir among fans, prompting Haru to address the situation on social media, expressing surprise at the amount of discussion it generated. She acknowledged receiving criticism but emphasized that she is working towards her goals in life.
Subsequently, her management company, n.CH Entertainment, stated that it is currently a period of suspension for NATURE’s activities. They mentioned being aware of Haru’s return to Japan but failing to reach her for clarification. Haru later mentioned that the company asked her to delete the video, leading her to comply. On the 26th, she expressed that she is not yet able to say what she wants to say, asking for patience from everyone.
n.CH Entertainment announced on the 27th that NATURE will officially disband, apologizing to fans who were anticipating the group’s return. The company explained that after extensive deliberation, they decided to end the group’s activities and allow the members to pursue their individual paths.
While the group’s activities are ending, n.CH Entertainment revealed that member Kim Sohee (Sohee) will continue to stay with the company for personal activities such as music and acting. They thanked fans for their support throughout NATURE’s journey and encouraged them to continue supporting the members in their future endeavors.
