Jiangsu Famous Internet Celebrity Suspected to Have Passed Away Due to Liposuction, Only 33 Years Old.

Recently, in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, a popular internet influencer was reported to have passed away suddenly at the young age of 33. Sources said her death may be related to liposuction for weight loss, sparking concerns about the safety of the plastic surgery industry.

According to reports from the NetEase account “Yufeng Entertainment,” internet influencer “Liu Dameili” had a modest following in the local area where she operated a foot bath shop and frequently shared her daily life and showcased her talents online, attracting a large number of fans. However, for unknown reasons, she suddenly became fixated on losing weight and chose to undergo surgery as a way to achieve it.

Sources revealed that Liu Dameili’s liposuction surgery took place at a plastic surgery hospital on Yandu Road. In the days following the surgery, she experienced extreme discomfort, ultimately leaving behind a young son tragically after her passing.

On November 28th, several netizens from Yancheng made public the news of Liu Dameili’s death on video-sharing platforms. A classmate of Liu Dameili also posted, saying that on November 1st, they were chatting in a group, and at that time, she posted an article about liposuction deaths, commenting, “Just a few days later, you passed away after undergoing liposuction.”

Additionally, acquaintances mentioned that Liu Dameili’s body has not been cremated, and her family is in discussions with the involved businesses to seek justice for her. Screenshots of online group chats show her family holding a photo of her outside a weight loss business, demanding answers.

However, following the escalation of the incident, her family has since hidden related “rights protection” videos and indicated in the comments that all issues have yet to be resolved.

In response to Liu Dameili’s sudden passing, many netizens expressed disbelief, saying, “She left us so young, it’s hard to believe.” Some netizens have called on the authorities to increase efforts to crack down on the plastic surgery industry to safeguard consumers’ rights and their safety.
