“Hundreds of People Gather in San Francisco to Support Trump for the Future of America”

Former President Trump held a fundraising event in San Francisco on June 6th, where hundreds of Northern California residents gathered at the Marina Green to warmly welcome his presence.

In the afternoon at 1 o’clock, numerous vehicles arrived at Marina Green, adorned with American flags, flags supporting Trump, as well as flags representing different ethnicities and communities. At the gathering, people waved flags with slogans like “Trump 2024,” “I voted for Trump,” “California supports Trump,” held banners saying “American Chinese support Trump,” “Vietnamese love Trump,” chanted various pro-Trump slogans, and passing cars honked in support.

Mark, a 65-year-old who grew up in the East Bay, mentioned that despite half of his family being registered as Democrats, almost all of them, including his 84-year-old mother, voted for Trump. They believe the Democratic Party no longer represents their interests, households, or private business owners. “We need to get Biden out of office,” he said.

Mark pointed out the numerous problems facing California, such as worsening fentanyl crisis, rising crime rates, business closures, uncontrollable inflation, and soaring food and fuel prices. Many small businesses are closing, and his family is considering leaving California. He emphasized the need to stand up for Trump and America.

Regarding the accusations against Trump, he dismissed them as lies. He stated that Trump is still fighting legal battles and has not given up. He also alleged illegal dealings between the Clinton family, Obama family, Biden family, and communist countries, as well as terrorism-sponsoring nations.

Max Bonilla, a 19-year-old college student studying in Rocklin, expressed that many people came to support Trump that day. Their convoy took one hour and forty-eight minutes from Sacramento to San Francisco. He believed that holding a conservative gathering in the blue city of San Francisco proved possible, and criticized the Biden administration’s recent executive orders as superficial measures that do not address border issues.

Bruce Lou, a Chinese-American youth challenging Pelosi and running for Congress, indicated his support for America’s democratic system by welcoming Trump. He criticized the Democrats’ use of the judicial system to attack individuals, damaging people’s trust in the judiciary. He and other locals believed more people would awaken in 2024 to support Trump.

A resident who has lived in San Francisco for 49 years stated that Trump is a patriotic and people-loving leader. She expressed concerns about the safety and fairness under the Biden administration, highlighting increased crime and insecurity in the city compared to earlier times. She decided to advocate for Trump amidst what she saw as an unfair trial and baseless accusations against him.

Mr. Chen, a software engineer from San Jose who switched from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party, believed that only Trump could save America from its decline, attributing it to the implementation of socialist ideas borrowed from the CCP. He condemned the Democrats’ governance, stating it benefits illegal immigrants, addicts, and criminals at the expense of hard-working citizens.

Tom Wong, a San Francisco resident whose parents immigrated to the US to escape CCP persecution, was impressed by the turnout at the event and the show of support for Trump. He stressed the importance of Trump in saving America.

Louisa Ip, a Hong Kong immigrant to the USA at age 15, criticized the legal proceedings against Trump and expressed joy at the massive turnout in support of him.

Travis Lewis, an African American missionary who previously did not support Trump, had a change of heart due to recent events. He considered Trump the only suitable presidential candidate and warned about the consequences of Biden’s potential reelection.

Daniel Goodwyn, a San Francisco resident and eyewitness to the January 6th Capitol events, supported Trump in hopes of Trump pardoning the political prisoners from that day.

In contrast to the welcoming crowd, a few individuals held anti-Trump signs. Some passing vehicles also showed opposition with thumbs down gestures.

Despite Trump being convicted on 34 counts in the sealed fee case on May 30, the judgment garnered increased support for him. On Thursday evening, a fundraising event was held at the residence of prominent venture capitalist and PayPal co-founder, David Sacks. Tickets ranged from $50,000 to $300,000 per person and $500,000 per couple.

Entrepreneur Chamath Palihapitiya co-led the fundraiser and reported that $12 million was successfully raised that evening.

On June 3, Trump’s campaign team and RNC jointly announced raising a record-breaking $141 million in May from over 2 million contributions. Additionally, pro-Trump organizations separately raised $150 million in May, indicating strong financial support for Trump’s re-election efforts and affiliated groups. Overall, nearly $3 billion was raised in May through Trump’s campaign activities and supporting organizations.
