Starting from June 8th, many areas in mainland China are expected to experience high temperatures. Ten days later, some regions in Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shaanxi Guanzhong Plain, and Xinjiang could see temperatures exceeding 40°C.
On June 7th, the China Meteorological Administration website reported that from the 8th to the 13th of June, southern and central parts of North China, along with the Huaihe River Basin, will experience hot weather. After the 10th, the high temperatures will significantly increase, with temperatures surpassing 40°C in southern Hebei and parts of Henan.
On the evening of the 7th, the China Meteorological Administration issued a yellow high-temperature alert, predicting that from the 8th to the 13th of June, continuous high temperatures will occur in southern and central North China, the Huaihe River Basin, northern Jianghan, Xinjiang, western Inner Mongolia, and other areas, lasting for 3 to 5 days.
The period from the 10th to the 13th will be the peak of the high temperatures, with some areas in southern Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shaanxi Guanzhong Plain, northern and eastern Xinjiang reaching maximum temperatures of 39-42°C.
Expectations for the 8th include temperatures of 35-36°C in southern and central Hebei, northern and southeastern Henan, and eastern parts of northern and southern Xinjiang. Some areas, such as southern and central Hebei and the eastern part of the southern Xinjiang Basin, may reach temperatures of 37-39°C, with local areas in the Turpan Basin exceeding 40°C.
On the 7th, the Shandong Meteorological Bureau issued a high-temperature alert at 11:20 a.m., stating that from the 9th to the 14th of June, inland areas of Shandong Province will continue to experience temperatures above 37°C. This heatwave is characterized by long duration, extensive coverage, and high temperatures.
On the 9th, inland areas of the province will see the highest temperatures reach 37-39°C, while coastal areas will experience temperatures between 28-34°C. From the 10th to the 13th, inland areas will reach maximum temperatures of 37-39°C, with some areas exceeding 40°C, while coastal regions will have temperatures between 28-35°C.
