The 2024 ranking of the “Best International Airlines” was announced this week, with Asian airlines standing out, including Taiwan’s EVA Air making it into the top ten.
The “Best International Airlines” is one of the annual comprehensive surveys conducted by Travel+Leisure magazine. This year, over 186,000 Travel+Leisure readers participated in the 2024 rating survey, evaluating their travel experiences around the world.
The specific rating criteria for airlines include:
– Cabin comfort
– In-flight services
– Customer service
– Value
For each rating criterion, respondents were able to choose between five different levels: “Excellent,” “Above average,” “Average,” “Below average,” or “Poor.” The final score for each airline is the average of these responses.
Among Asian airlines, six made it into the top ten, including EVA Air from Taiwan. Middle Eastern airlines followed closely, with three companies entering the top ten.
Overall, Travel+Leisure found that readers are seeking comfortable flights with attentive service from cabin crews and good food, something that all airlines on this year’s list are able to provide for their passengers. For example, the only European airline in the top ten, Business Air (BO), received praise from a voter for being “value for money, attentive service, and delicious food.”
