EU Document Leaked, Revealing Response Plan to US Steel and Aluminum Tariffs

Reuters reported on Monday (April 7) that according to a document, the European Commission has proposed imposing a 25% tariff on American goods, a proposal set to take effect on May 16.

This move by the European Union is in response to the previous imposition of steel tariffs by the United States on the EU.

At the same time, the EU is removing American bourbon whiskey from the list of items subject to retaliatory tariffs.

According to the document, certain tariffs will come into effect on December 1.
