Today’s highlights: Arson suspect arrested! Is the Los Angeles fire intentional? Palisades Reservoir without water, firefighters use women’s handbags to put out fire; Residents intercept California Governor on the street, TV host blames fire department chief; Japan’s fire prevention system amazing, will US house construction change?

The Los Angeles fire has been burning for three days and is still spreading, resulting in multiple fatalities and tens of thousands of homes destroyed or damaged, causing severe economic losses. Today, new videos have emerged showing scenes more shocking than Hollywood disaster movies, resembling an apocalyptic scenario.

As the fire continues to rage, various feedback is pouring in, but the most shocking news is that the Los Angeles police have confirmed that the Kenneth fire was deliberately set, and a suspect has been captured, not by the police, but by local residents who discovered and restrained him.

Reports indicate that a resident passing by saw a man with a lighter and a hairdryer setting fires. With the help of neighbors, they subdued and tied up the arsonist. Take a look at the scene at that time.

The Los Angeles Police Department later arrested the man, who was found with five cell phones and a United Nations prepaid debit card. Would a normal person carry five cell phones with them? The police have not disclosed his name or whether he is directly linked to the origin of the previous Los Angeles fire incidents. However, more reports confirm that the water sources in Los Angeles and Southern California are severely lacking, leading to firefighters facing dry hydrants in rescue areas.

A video shot by a citizen shows Los Angeles firefighters using women’s handbags to hold water to extinguish flames, while the local fire chief stated on television that many fire hydrants in the fire-stricken neighborhood had no water at all!

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Pacific Palisades Reservoir was empty during the current fire outbreak. The reservoir, which originally held 117 million gallons of water, could have provided firefighters with enough water pressure to effectively suppress the fire. Now, officials from the California Department of Water and Power are forced to admit that the dead water level in the reservoir could likely be the reason for dry fire hydrants or low water pressure. See how the Pacific Palisades Reservoir was completely empty during the fire.

What is most infuriating is that the DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policy strongly promoted by California and Los Angeles has become the hidden hand behind the catastrophic losses in the Los Angeles fire. It has been widely reported that in times of insufficient firefighting capabilities, funds were diverted to DEI projects. A public document from last year revealed that the Los Angeles city government cut over $17 million from the firefighting budget, severely impacting equipment upgrades, personnel training, and disaster drills.

The diverted funds were allocated to DEI projects and welfare for undocumented immigrants. Furthermore, Los Angeles Fire Department, meant for saving lives and fighting fires, prioritizes “gender equality” and “diversity” in its appointments, focusing on recruiting female and transgender firefighters, even establishing an LGBTQ rights bureau within the fire department.

When questioned by reporters about why roadside leaves were not cleared, leading to the spread of wildfires, the answer was that animal protection groups demanded leaves be left to protect a local species of yellow squirrel, preventing their habitat from being disturbed. Similarly, the reason for not using lake water to extinguish the fire was to protect the fish in the lake, as per the animal protection group.

All these politically correct actions were supported by California Governor Newsom. It is no wonder that residents in disaster-stricken areas halted Newsom on the street, questioning why schools lacked water to fight fires.

The dissatisfaction expressed by a Los Angeles resident during the fire disaster is already quite restrained, but former news reporter and anchor Megan Kelly was not as polite. After the Los Angeles fire, she angrily criticized the female fire chief of Los Angeles, showing uncontrollable rage.

As mentioned in yesterday’s fire report, Trump demanded the resignation of the California Governor and pointed out that Newsom refused to sign a bill proposed by him to divert water from Northern California to Southern California. This has sparked widespread reactions, with even a left-wing journalist in Florida publicly questioning Trump. Florida Governor DeSantis directly intervened and exposed the journalist’s double standards, intentionally creating division.

Some find California’s handling of wildfires incomprehensible. California is known for its wealth, with an economy surpassing that of entire Western developed countries like Germany and the UK. Despite its extensive coastline, the state’s struggle to address the continuous wildfires shows a lack of focus and preparedness in fire prevention and control.

A video surfaced showing how Japan, in an area prone to wildfires due to dry weather, efficiently arranges fire prevention measures that impress observers.

After the fire, comparisons have been drawn between German housing materials and American ones, predicting that the Los Angeles fire may completely change the materials and structure of American homes, ushering in a new era for US real estate.
