In Nanyang City, Henan Province, China, a cow recently made a surprise visit to a barbershop, causing all the customers and barbers inside to flee in panic. Fortunately, the cow was later led away by its owner, and the incident did not result in any injuries.
Surveillance footage from the barbershop captured the moment a white cow barged into the shop, charging forward and knocking over some items. A man who appeared to be the owner could be seen shouting loudly from behind.
Upon seeing the cow, the customers scrambled to escape, and even the barbers ran out, leaving the cow alone inside the shop. The cow eventually calmed down until the man came in and led it out.
According to reports from mainland Chinese media, the cow was sold by its owner, but during loading, it got frightened and bolted, crashing into the barbershop, leaving a mess behind. The owner had to compensate over a thousand yuan for the damages.
In another incident in Tainan City, Taiwan, a cow also broke loose and roamed the streets recently. Police responded to the scene, directing the cow away from the road and to a safe location before notifying the owner to retrieve it. Luckily, there were no traffic accidents or injuries stemming from the incident.
The incident took place on Hai Zhong Street in Tainan City in the late hours of January 7th. Police received a report from locals about a cow wandering the streets and dispatched two officers to handle the situation.
Upon arrival, the officers used the rope attached to the cow to guide it to a safe area and then contacted the owner, surnamed Li, to pick it up.
Authorities mentioned that it is uncommon for farms to keep cows these days, but as Li had a record of three previous incidents of his cows going missing, they were acquainted with him.
Police believed that Li had been neglectful in caring for the cow, allowing it to wander onto the road on its own, fortunately averting any accidents.
Li was advised by the police to properly manage his cows to prevent similar incidents in the future, warning of fines under the Road Traffic Management Penalty Regulations in case of violations.
