China Airlines Promotes Valentine’s Day Sale: 12% off Flights from North America to Asia

China Airlines has launched a “Romantic Valentine’s Day” promotion in North America, offering discounts for flights departing from the United States and Canada (Los Angeles, Ontario, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, and Vancouver) to major cities in Asia. From February 10 to 23, customers can enjoy discounts as low as 12% off, with economy class fares starting at $738 USD before May 15.

According to Lee Yi-chin, the North America Sales Manager of China Airlines, the promotion covers all North American routes and cabin classes. For example, the lowest economy class fare from Los Angeles to Taipei is $738 including taxes, while premium economy starts at $1,595 and business class at $4,917. She advises Los Angeles passengers to seize the opportunity if they see round-trip fares to Taipei for less than $800.

Currently, China Airlines operates ten flights per week from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and one daily flight from Ontario Airport (ONT). The most competitive prices for flights departing LAX on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays in the afternoon. Lee Yi-chin emphasizes that this promotion marks China Airlines’ first wave of North American promotions in 2025, encouraging travelers to take advantage of the offer.
