Biden to Deliver Speeches at Three Events Seeking Voter Support

The White House announced on Sunday (July 7) that as the Republican National Convention convenes, President Biden will deliver speeches in three events, focusing on key themes of his re-election campaign and target voter groups.

According to The Hill, a White House official stated in a press release, “Next week, President Biden will continue to travel across the country, discussing the remarkable progress made by the American people over the past three and a half years, outlining his vision to ensure that America’s promises benefit all communities…”

Biden will attend a series of events and give speeches to make efforts to overcome the challenges he currently faces in his campaign.

On July 15, Biden will deliver a speech at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library in Austin, Texas to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act.

On the day Biden delivers this speech, the Republican National Convention will kick off in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Republicans will gather in the city that week to outline their policy platform, deliver speeches, and officially nominate former President Trump as the Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election.

Biden will then head to the battleground state of Nevada to speak at the 115th National Convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Las Vegas on July 16.

On July 17, Biden will speak at the annual conference of UnidosUS, the largest Latino nonprofit advocacy group in the United States, held in Nevada.

Although these three speeches are official White House events, they are directly related to the key themes of Biden’s campaign, including seeking support from the Democratic Party’s major Hispanic American voter base.

Following setbacks in the first presidential debate at the end of June, Biden has intensified his campaign efforts, attending multiple events and delivering speeches, including visiting Wisconsin last week and traveling to Pennsylvania on Sunday to garner support from voters in these two key battleground states.
