【Epoch Times, March 10, 2025】Argentine capital Buenos Aires was hit by heavy rain last Friday, causing a severe flood in the port city of Bahia Blanca in the southwest, resulting in at least 10 deaths.
The city reported that the rainfall exceeded 260 millimeters within a few hours, leading to the destruction of bridges, road collapses, and the possibility of more casualties.
This major commercial port city, located about 600 kilometers (400 miles) from the capital, saw residents and medical facilities evacuated due to the storm. Pictures on social media show mothers fleeing a hospital submerged in floodwaters with their newborn babies.
