According to Qingdao News Network, customer service responded that there was a malfunction affecting all platforms using Alipay for payments, and Alipay would make refunds accordingly.
Alipay’s official Weibo account issued a response, stating that there was a partial system failure in the message database, resulting in the payment function of some users being affected. The malfunction did not compromise the security of users’ funds, and by 10:50 am, the issue had been rectified.
