Born in the Netherlands, she underwent professional training from a young age and was sent to the United States at 15 weeks old to become Strahl’s beloved companion.

As a young puppy, Strahl started training Dooma to do squats to strengthen her leg muscles, a skill she mastered over about a year. Strahl wasn’t surprised when Dooma enthusiastically wagged her tail and tried to imitate his movements in the gym because he’s accustomed to her unexpected actions. “I wasn’t surprised at all because this is typical Dooma behavior.
