Adele Concert Shows Left Hand Ring Finger: “I’m Getting Married”

British songstress Adele, 35, who announced her divorce in 2019, confirmed her engagement to well-known NBA agent Rich Paul on August 10 during a concert in Munich. Adele, previously linked to Paul since 2021, revealed her engagement by showing off a ring on her left hand, putting an end to ongoing speculations about their marital status.

Videos captured by fans at the concert showed a moment when a fan proposed to Adele with a sign, to which she responded in her usual light-hearted manner, saying, “I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married!” As she spoke, she proudly displayed the ring on her ring finger, triggering cheers and screams from the audience.

Adele was previously married to British-American philanthropist Simon Konecki, with whom she shares a son named Angelo. Following their divorce in 2021, Adele released her album “30” in November of the same year. The album, which topped the Billboard 200 chart for six weeks, explores her experiences dealing with divorce and repairing her relationship with her son.

The album’s lead single “Easy On Me” received widespread acclaim, breaking records on Spotify and Amazon Music for single-day plays upon release. It also debuted at the top of the UK Singles Chart, marking the highest-selling song for Adele since January 2017. The track went on to clinch the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Adele’s fifth chart-topping single in the United States.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Adele shared that she first met Rich Paul at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Their relationship turned serious in the summer of 2021, making Paul the first and only person she dated following her divorce from Konecki.

Born in London, England in 1988, Adele is a renowned pop singer, songwriter, and one of the best-selling music artists globally. Known for hits like “Someone like You” and “Rolling in the Deep,” she is a frequent recipient of prestigious awards such as the Grammy Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
