2025 New York City Memorial Day Parade and Activities Overview

On the last Monday of May every year (this year being May 26th), Americans commemorate the courageous sacrifices made by servicemen during their service. Our news outlet has compiled a list of five major areas where various activities will be held for citizens and tourists to participate in.

Fleet Week:

Location: Intrepid Museum, Pier 86 Time: May 23rd (Friday) at 7 PM; May 24th–26th (Saturday to Monday) from 10 AM to 6 PM Ticket Price: Free admission; on-board exhibits require tickets ($28-38); free for children under 4

Children’s Museum Memorial Day Activities:

Location: Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM), 212 West 83rd Street Time: May 26th from 10 AM to 5 PM Target Audience: Children 8 years old and under, $18 per person

Star Wreaths Handicrafts Activity:

Location: Columbus Library, 742 Tenth Avenue Time: May 28th (Wednesday) from 3 PM to 4 PM Target Audience: Ages 4 to 13, free of charge

158th Brooklyn Memorial Day Parade:

Location: Bay Ridge, starts at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 78th Street Time: May 26th at 11 AM

Green-Wood Cemetery Memorial Day Concert:

Location: Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street Time: May 26th from 2 PM to 4 PM, free admission

Sunset Gardens Memorial Day Market:

Location: Sunnyside Gardens Park, 48-21 39th Avenue Time: May 24th (Saturday) from noon to 5 PM, free admission

Forest Hills Memorial Day Parade:

Location: VFW Post 1424, 107-15 Metropolitan Avenue Time: May 25th (Sunday) at noon, free admission

Botanical Garden Crafts and Story Time:

Location: Queens Botanical Garden, 43-50 Main Street Time: May 26th from 11 AM to 1 PM Ticket Price: Starting from $4

Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade:

Location: Northern Boulevard, from Nassau Road to 244th Street Time: May 26th from 2 PM to 4 PM
