The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China stated that at 1:17 am today (10th), it detected a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) missile flying through the middle of Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). Additionally, from 6:00 am on the 9th to 6:00 am today (10th), a total of 11 CCP aircraft and 9 CCP vessels were detected, with a total of 20 CCP aircraft and vessels continuously conducting activities around the Taiwan Strait to disturb Taiwan.
In the early hours of today at 1:17 am, the CCP carried out a satellite launch mission with a carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The rocket’s flight path passed through the central part of Taiwan towards the Western Pacific direction, at an altitude outside the atmosphere, posing no threat to Taiwan. The national defense used a joint surveillance system to closely monitor the related activities and took appropriate precautions.
The Republic of China strongly rejects the CCP’s claim that Taiwan is an indivisible part of its territory. President Lai Ching-te recently pointed out that the CCP has not renounced the use of force to annex Taiwan. The biggest threat to Taiwan’s sovereignty, democracy, and self-determination comes from the CCP. Faced with such a serious challenge, as the President, his mission is to unite Taiwan regardless of ethnicity or order of arrival, as long as one identifies with Taiwan, one is a master of this country.
The Taiwan Ministry of National Defense further stated in a press release that from 6:00 am on the 9th to 6:00 am today, a total of 11 CCP aircraft (including 9 aircraft that crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait into the northern and southwestern airspace) and 9 CCP vessels continued to operate around the Taiwan Strait. The military used aircraft, ships, and shore-based missile systems for close monitoring and response.
According to the illustration of the activities of CCP forces in the vicinity of the Taiwan Strait provided by the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense, on the morning of the 9th from 10 am to 12 pm, 1 CCP helicopter was detected in the northern airspace. From 7:35 am to 5:30 pm, 7 CCP main fighter jets were spotted in the Taiwan Strait area, with 5 of them crossing the median line, and from 2:15 pm to 6 am, 3 CCP main fighter jets were detected in the southwestern airspace.
The Taiwan Ministry of National Defense stated on the 9th that from 6:00 am on the 8th to 6:00 am on the 9th, a total of 9 CCP aircraft (including 7 aircraft that crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait into the northern and southwestern airspace) and 7 CCP vessels continued to operate around the Taiwan Strait. The military used aircraft, ships, and shore-based missile systems for close monitoring and response.
Additionally, on the 8th, the military detected 2 CCP floating balloons, one disappearing at 1:26 pm and the other at 2:40 pm, located 78 nautical miles northwest of Keelung at an altitude of 18,000 feet and 79 nautical miles southwest of Keelung at an altitude of 10,000 feet, respectively.

The military used aircraft, ships, and shore-based missile systems for close monitoring and response.
Furthermore, the military detected 8 CCP floating balloons entering Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone from 9:15 am to 5:40 pm on the 6th. Some of the balloons floated eastward from the Taiwan Strait, crossing over Taiwan and into the Pacific.
